Seth Goldstein, CEO SocialMedia.com

John Borthwick John Borthwick, CEO of Beta Works.

John Borthwick is CEO of betaworks. betaworks is new form of internet media company. Prior to betaworks John was Senior Vice President of Alliances and Technology Strategy for Time Warner Inc.

betaworks’ involvement in some of the hottest companies around (including Summize (acquired by Twitter), bit.ly, StockTwits, and TweetDeck) gives John a unique perspective on social media.

John’s company, WP-Studio, founded in 1994, was one of the first content studios in New York’s Silicon Alley. John holds an MBA from Wharton (1994) and an undergraduate degree BA in Economics from Wesleyan University (1987).

Sam Travis Ewen is the 800 lb Guerrilla in the room. He has been setting his sights on the marketing world for over 17 years. Since his early days in the music business, he has been conceiving alternative ways of getting the word out and generating buzz.
