Socialmedia.com is developing a next generation social advertising network based on open social platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace. With our innovations in social advertising, we collect large amounts of data that we need to analyze as part of our offering. We are looking for a marketing manager to be responsible for being the voice of the company to partners, clients and the industry. This person will play a key role in developing the positioning, value communication and overall equity of the company. This role will require working with the VP of Marketing and CEO to broadly showcase the company’s innovation and advertising best practices.
Responsibilities:
* Manage external communications through website management, content creation and PR outreach
* Write case studies and white papers highlighting best-in-class examples of social ads
* Work with the Sales team in the development of sales presentations: positioning of core value, providing sound rationale and compelling examples
* Communicate regularly through updates to the corporate blog and via quarterly updates to key partners
* Partner with CEO in creating materials for live presentations: Keynote remarks at industry events, panel attendance and provide POV and data for articles
Requirements:
* Excellent writing skills
* Must understand and utilize social platforms
* Self starter who will take initiative and be willing to learn through trial and error
* BA in business, marketing, or a related field from a top-tier university
